I’m Anne-Sophie, a primary school teacher and passionate baker since 2013. This blog was born in 2014 from a desire to share that passion with as many people as possible. Here I share tried-and-tested recipes, explained clearly to make pastry-making accessible to everyone. It felt only natural to turn to food photography too — because we eat with our eyes first. You’ll find here sweet creations made with love and photographed with the same joy as making them.
It all started in 2013, after back surgery and long months of recovery. Recipe books, food blogs, specialist equipment… I threw myself into baking with appetite. And when I could finally stand for more than an hour, I walked back into my kitchen — and never really left! Since then, my bedside book has become a recipe book, covered in sticky notes and dishes waiting to be tried.

Work with me
Baking taught me one thing: you fall in love with a cake before you’ve even tasted it. That’s the magic I try to capture every time I pick up my camera. Finding the light that makes a caramel shine, the angle that brings out the softness of a ganache, the styling that tells a story… it has become a true passion, just as strong as my love of baking, and one I’ve been refining over the years through this blog.
Today, I offer my services to food, hospitality and culinary professionals who want to showcase their products or creations: recipe development, food photography, social media video content… I bring to your projects the same exacting standards and attention to detail that I pour into my own.
